No work… No Pay… ‘Will not’ have any impact

The state government is planning to rattle the employees on strike through the norm ‘No work – No pay’, as enunciated through the GO 177. The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has taken the support of the High Court, which directed the government to strictly implement the norm. The CM has issued instructions to authorities to prepare a list of employees who went on strike and cut their salaries (tails?)
There is difficulty in this computation as even the employees who are to calculate the attendance are on strike! Top officials have explained to the CM about this predicament. But CM said ‘Do it some how.” So, they are doing it.
But will it rattle the employees? Particularly because the most important Dasara festival is around?
No, says Secretariat Employees JAC leader Narender Rao. “We all know that there will be no pay for no work. But no one can stop salaries for the days worked (till September 12). We are ready to face the difficulties.
Nagam will forego a meal to save employees…..
The funniest thing is TDP rebel leader Nagam Janardana Reddy saying that he and others by forgoing a meal once a month or once a week will save Telangana employees. How much food Nagam consumes per day? How much money could be saved forgoing a meal? Will it be sufficient to feed all Telangana employees if they don’t get salaries?
