Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief Chandrasekhara Rao has called upon MLAs belonging to Congress and Telugu Desam to resubmit their resignations to prove their commitment to Telangana cause.
Addressing a meeting after inducting a large number of TDP activists from Karimnagar district into the party on Wednesday, Rao said: “I will ensure the victory of those MLAs who resign for the region.” He also demanded the resignations of ministers.
Telangana will be a reality if all the MLAs resign.” On unity of Telangana forces, Rao said he had been saying that unity of all Telangana people and leaders was essential if a separate state was to become a reality. Rao explained the decisions of TJAC taken earlier in the day to the newly-inducted party workers.
The TJAC gave a call and the TRS would follow it, he said. Rao said Sakala Janula Samme would start on September 13 and those working even in emergency services like power and RTC would participate in the strike. The public meeting in Karimnagar district on September 12 would be huge and more than a lakh people would attend it.
