Demanding the Congress and TDP public representatives to tender their resignations once again, the Medak MP Ms Vijayashanthi has called upon the people of Telangana region to chase the public representatives who failed to resign, with footwear and broom sticks, when they come to the villages.

Addressing a meeting organized at Zaheerabad town as part of National Highways Blockade on Monday, Ms Vijayashanthi has warned the TDP and Congress public representatives that the people would teach a fitting lesson to them if they failed to submit their resignations and support the cause of separate Telangana. She said that the movement will continue till the separate State was achieved.

Demanding the Centre to respond on the Sakalajanula Samme immediately, she opined that the creation of Telangana state was only possible if the NDA comes to power at the Centre. She said that the impact of the movement has touched Delhi with the blockade of national highways. She also called upon the people not to allow the anti-telanganaites from coming out of their homes. She alleged that the State government was resorting to arrests of Telangana protagonists, as part of its conspiracy.

Stating that the government will not be able to stop the movement by resorting to arrests and suppression, she alleged that the Telangana Congress leaders remained confined to their houses seeing the arrests.
