Undavalli’s turn to mediate for Telangana

Earlier some scholars from Semandhra and Telangana have tried to resolve this problem through dialogue, but they have to stop their process due to pressures from some forces, which wants the stalemate continue forever. So, the problem which can be solved with negotiations has been turned into a burning issue by the political parties merely to safe guard their political interests and we are observing it leads to unrest in the state.

Now, another Congress man Rajahmundry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar has taken initiative in bringing both sides to the table. He has proposed to keep Hyderabad as a permanent common capital to both states and to equally share its revenue. But, the Telangana leaders who attend the meeting have bluntly refused his proposal and made it clear that it is not acceptable for them to share a common capital on permanent basis. They said if it is for a limited period of 5-10 years it’s ok for them but not permanently. The meeting ends without any progress but with a positive note, that all of they have agreed to meet again soon at Hyderabad to discuss on this issue.
