UNI operations in Hyderabad hit by Telangana statehood movement

Operations of news agency UNI here were disrupted for nearly an hour today by Telangana statehood supporters.

They forced the staffers of the agency to participate in the Hyderabad Bandh. Miscreants forcibly entered the office of UNI seeking the personnel to switch off their operations.

They even attempted to damage the computers and manhandle a staffer of the agency. As many as 15 Telangana supporters barged into the UNI building at 1030 hrs and moved into various other offices located in the building and forcibly asked them to down shutters.
