Advani assures support fro Telangana

“I just believe that nobody can trust the words of this government, the government cannot be trusted at all. Two years before, they promised the people of Telangana that they were proceeding in the development of Telangana. Home Minister announced in the Parliament and after that he cheated people and went back on his words and till date he has not done anything in this issue. In the history of India, I don”t remember that if any state has conducted such a long protest like this state has done,” he said, addressing a rally in Nizamabad.

He said the Congress was defeated in Andhra Pradesh bypoll and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should take ‘a lesson’ from it and create the separate state. He further added that the state of paralysis and indecision of the UPA government is clearly evident on the issue of creation of separate state of Telangana. This is a very legitimate demand which the BJP fully supports. He further said it was for the first time in the history of the country that several youth have been committing suicide for a demand on which the Centre also agreed. People welcomed him carrying banners ‘We want separate Telangana’ and ‘Jai Jai Telangana’ written on them. Hundreds of thousands of separate Telangana supporters gathered
