Bharath ‘Bandh’ on Oct 11 for Telangana

Lauding the participation of the government employees in the strike, he wanted all sections of people to take part in the agitation. Despite the threats held out by the government and the people in power, they did not yield to the pressure tactics of the government.

He pointed out that every day a new theory was being floated on the Telangana issue to put the people in confusion. Telangana state with Kurnool as headquarters or Telangan state with Hyderabad as headquarters, Telangana without Hyderabad, Hyderabad as union territory or Hyderabad as common capital were all different theories floated by vested political interests.

He stated that the Centre was out to confuse people on this count. Telanganites will not accept anything less that the erstwhile Nizam state with Hyderabad as its capital. People were not to be carried away with the false proposals. He said Telangana agitation was no longer in the hands of the leaders. It was now a movement of Telangana People.

The students, Singareni workers, RTC employees, lecturers,electricity employees, farmers and a host of other sections are instrumental for its success. Instead of supporting the struggle, some political leaders are deliberately misleading the people on key aspects of the agitation. Such leaders should be ready to face the ire
of the Telangana people.
