Congress MPs Ponnam Prabhakar, Gutta Sukhinder Reddy and Rajaiah have said they would complain about the style of functioning of the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to the party High Command.
Talking to the media here on Thursday, they said the government was conspiring against the SC, ST and BC public representatives. Criticizing Renuka Choudary, official spokesperson of the AICC, they said despite being in a high office she was behaving like the representative of a particular region. They have alleged that she was acting as the stooge of Seemandhra. They have demanded that she should change her style of functioning.
When asked about the Prime Minister’s remark that the center would make efforts to keep the people of the state united, the MPs said that there was nothing wrong in the Prime Minister talking that way. The MPs have asked the Telangana ministers not to participate in the AP Formation Day celebrations. They have also demanded that the center should immediately announce a road map on Telangana. They have questioned the BJP leader L K Advani who said that his party would give Telangana in 2014, why the NDA had not conceded Telangana when it was in power. Referring to the statement of the TRS MP Vijaya Santi that BJP will give Telangana in 2014, the MPs have questioned if she wanted the people of the region to be in troubles till then. Stating that all the public representatives of Congress from the Telangana region would meet on Oct 22 in Nampalli Exhibition Grounds, they requested all leaders to participate in the meeting.
