No-Work, No-Pay…then ‘NO-TAXES’

Now as the employees are participating in the Sakala Janula Samme, there is no administration in the state. There is no bus service or for that matter any other government service. So the government is not working. When the government is not working, the same ‘no work- no pay’ rule should be applied to the government also, isn’t it? The pay people give to the government for its service is the tax they pay.
When the government is not functioning, how can it expect the pay? So will the people be right if they refuse to pay taxes under the same rule invoked by the government? This is the question people are asking the government now.
