APSRTC NMU Forum Convener Mr. Thomos Reddy has made it clear that strike of the employees would not be withdrawn at any cost.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, he said the strike on the other hand would be further intensified and the employees would not give up their fight until Telangana was achieved. He said the RTC employees have joined the Sakala Janula Samme on a call by the Telangana JAC. He said half naked demonstrations would be held at all the depots through out Telangana on October 3. Depot-wise rallies would be held on October 4 and human chains would be organized on October 5.
Mr. Thomas Reddy has demanded that the management should immediately stop employing inexperienced persons as drivers and conductors. He has also demanded payment of wages to the RTC employees from August 17 to September 16 and also issuance of festival advances. He said it was deplorable that while the Seemandhra employees received full wages, the Telangana employees were not paid salaries even for the days they had worked. He said the agitation would be further intensified if the management did not desist from harassing the striking employees.
