The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Monday hit back strongly at the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for commenting that K Chandrasekhar Rao and Prof. Kodandaram were to be blamed if the agriculture sector in the Telangana region suffered huge losses in the coming months.

Party polit buro member Dr Sravan, addressing members of the media at Telangana Bhavan, said instead of taking alternative measures to bail farmers out of this crisis, Chief Minister was just indulging in mudslinging politics. “Everyone, be it a politician of Telangana or an industry expert, were time and again suggesting that hydel power can be generated to compensate the power loss. Moreover, Nagarjunasagar and Srisailam reservoirs are filled to capacity.

But CM seems to be in no mood to address this issue. Instead, he is making false accusations against the TRS. Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy should remember that Sakala Janula Samme is not a TRS show. Four and a half crore population of Telangana were voluntarily participating in this strike for realisation of their long standing goal of separate state,” Mr Sravan said.
