TRS leader Karne Prabhakar has taken a strong exception to hero Bala Krishna’s statement that the state should be united to prosper. Talking to the media, he said Balayya had hurt the sentiments of the people of Telangana and warned that he would be taught a lesson by the people themselves. Prabhakar and another leader Sravan have also strongly criticized the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu also for expressing himself against state bifurcation. Sravan said Babu was ignorant of history.
Speaking on the occasion of the state formation day, Chandrababu Naidu has said that Burgula Rama Krishnaiah has sacrificed his position for keeping the Telugus united. He also said that during the 3000-year history of Telugus, they were separated only for 150 years. Referring to the charge of Naidu that TRS was encouraging defections, he has questioned if he did not remember that defections were wrong, when he had re-admitted Devender Goud and Peddi Reddy.
