Cong MPs resignation drama

It is now proved beyond doubt that the resignations of MPs claiming allegiance to Telangana was just a farce.
The Speaker’s office which has announced rejection of the resignations of 12 of the 14 MPs has said that they were not in proper format. It is also being said that the Speaker felt that some of the MPs were not after all keen on getting their resignations accepted, as they have attended Parliament, committee meetings and have drawn salaries, TAs and DAs. Some have even gone on official tours. Why did they attend meetings of Parliament or Committees after they resigned? Why have they drawn salaries, TAs and DAs if they are keen on acceptance of their resignations? Do these lawmakers not understand simple Parliamentary rules? Does the TRS chief KCR who has resigned thrice in the past not know the format in which he has to resign?
If they were not keen on resigning and if the leaders who made employees go on strike and starve without wages, were so particular about their own wages and allowances, why did they resign? Is it to hoodwink the people of Telangana?
The two resignations that were kept pending by the Speaker were that of Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. While Mekapati resigned in protest against inclusion of late Chief Minister YSR’s name in the CBI FIR, Komatireddy resigned for Telangana.
Reports say that the Congress High Command is sore over the attitude of the Komatireddy brothers. It suspects that these brothers have been inciting other MPs and MLAs on the Telangana issue. The High Command also suspects that these two are close to Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
This being the view held by the party High Command, the two might be counseled by the party bosses.
