Jagan group MLAs to ditch YSR Cong?

The YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is a disturbed man as reports suggest that some MLAs who have supported him and resigned to the Congress as well as their MLA posts might desert him, as they were rattled by reports that their leader could be arrested.

According to reports, some of the MLAs have already sent feelers to the Congress leadership that they were ready to come back. Some have reportedly met the Speaker Nadendla Manohar and told him that they would not press for acceptance of their resignations. The Speaker will call all those MLAs who have submitted their resignations before the commencement of the Assembly winter session and ask them about their stand. It is being said that these MLAs are likely to tell the Speaker that they would not insist on acceptance of their resignations, at that meeting.

Reports say that seven to eight MLAs are already on their way out. YSR Congress leader Gone Prakasha Rao while admitting that there were trials from the Congress to lure these MLAs back into its fold, alleged that as the news of MLAs deserting Jagan has appeared in all the newspapers on the same day, it was a deliberate leak from the Congress. He said the Chief Minister who is under pressure as he lost majority in the Assembly, started making desperate attempts to get the numbers back to save himself and his government. He has however said that the number of MLAs on their way out was not 8 to 9. He sounded as if the number would be less. May be 4 to 5. Whatever the number, it is the trend that would make Jagan jittery. If flood gates are opened, how much water goes out is unimaginable. It is also difficult to close the gates again, with the water gushing out.
