The second day of winter session of Parliament turned out to result in up roar over price rise, black money and Telangana. An uproar over price rise, black money and Telangana ensured no business was transacted on day two of Parliament’s Winter Session on Wednesday. Both Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari adjourned the two respective houses till 12 noon. However, with the chaos continuing when the two Houses reassembled both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till tomorrow.

Yesterday on the day first the Lok Sabha was adjourned not once, but twice over the Uttar Pradesh split resolution. he government appears to have defused a confrontation for now in Parliament by persuading the Opposition to have a discussion on the issue of price rise in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday under a rule that does not entail voting.

The Winter Session of Parliament had got off to a stormy start yesterday with opposition in the Lok Sabha raising a variety of issues and the Left parties protesting against price rise and giving an adjournment motion on the issue. Already BJP has also announced plans to bring an adjournment motion on the issue of black money on Thursday, an issue on which it expects Left’s backing. It is believed both the BJP and the Left parties will corner the Congress today on an incredible price hike.
