Former minister Jeevan Reddy has said that separate Telangana State would be possible only when people brave to wage an open fight with the government.

Jeevan Reddy visited NIMS Hospital on Monday and enquired about the condition of former minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, who has been continuing his fast, despite being shifted to the hospital

Speaking to the media later, Jeevan Reddy said the Union government should stick to its December 9 statement on Telangana. He said that it was unfortunate that the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy made no efforts to make Komatireddy withdraw his fast. He has requested the Congress leaders not to fall a pray to the management techniques of the Chief Minister.
