Tension in Jagan’s group MLAs
News pulse, Politics | admin | November 14, 2011 at 5:22 amTension prevailed in the Jagan camp MLAs after the Speaker accepted the resignation of TDP dissident and strong Jagan supporter n Prasanna Kumar Reddy on Saturday.
It is learnt that the Congress MLAs supporting the YSR Congress chief were now worried that their resignations also would be accepted. Reports suggest that they were trying to go back to Congress.
It is learnt that these MLAs were no longer confident that if their resignations were accepted, they would be able to win their seats back, in view of the cases on Jagan’s assets and his involvement in the Obulapuram mines case. It is learnt that as they could not pull the government down and cause mid-term polls, it would be better to go back to the Congress fold.
