Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has expressed confidence about warding off a no-confidence motion moved by the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP). “I think the numbers are quite clear. I think we have got about 180 odd with all our ally parties and us. I don”t think there is any numbers game,” said Reddy.

But the Congress, which heads the state government, may get into a spot of bother if 22 party rebels cross over to the Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy camp and vote against the government. The Congress will have to bank on its allies PRP and MIM to bail it out. But Chiranjeevi’’s party is not too happy with the Congress and was reportedly busy on Sunday drawing up its strategy.

Congress rebel lawmakers also visited Jaganmohan Reddy’s residence to discuss political options.
