Yaum-e-Ashura or tenth Day of Moharrum is being observed throughout the country on Tuesday to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of the Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, who died in the battle of Karbala in 680 AD. Tazia will be buried in symbolic Karbalas situated across the country on Tuesday afternoon.
Majlis-e-shaam-e-ghariban will be held after the sunset and burial of tazia.
Moharrum is the first month of the Islamic calendar in which violence and fighting in forbidden.
