Refuting news reports in a section of the media, TRS MLA K T Rama Rao has made it clear that his party had not fixed with the YSR Congress Party. Advising the Seemandhra leaders not to spread such baseless news, KTR said that there was no need for the TRS to collude with any political party from Andhra region.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, KTR said that his party does everything openly and it would do so in future too. He said that the TRS openly urged the Telangana Congress leaders to vote against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government to protect their political future. But they did not do so, he lamented He alleged that Chiranjeevi, who fired salvos against the Congress, had merged with the ruling party.

Expressing happiness over the High Court order directing the State government to release TRS politburo member Dr Cheruku Sudhakar, who was arrested under the Prevention Detention Act and National Security Act and lodged in the Warangal jail for the last one month, KTR alleged the retired judges, who advised the government to keep Dr Sudhakar in jail for 12 months, were from Seemandhra region.
