Azad to patch up PPC chief ‘Botsa’ and CM ‘KKR’

Despite AP being a little more trouble-free now, Congress High Command is still worried about the growing differences between the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and the PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana. Top leadership of the party is still unable to digest the fact that 16 MLAs who won on party ticket voted against the government. High Command is of the view that both Kiran and Botcha had failed to check this exodus because of differences between them.

The party wants both to work seamless to ensure party’s victory in the ensuing by elections to 24 Assembly seats. Despite the Chief Minister asserting that the by elections should not be considered a referendum on the performance of his government, the party High Command doesn’t appear to be holding the same view. The party leadership would be taking the by-poll results to evaluate Kiran’s performance and prepare the party for the 2014 elections.

This is the reason why the party wants AICC general secretary and state affairs in charge Ghulam Nabi Azad to iron out the differences between the two top leaders. Azad would be coming to Hyderabad to participate in a religious function later in the week. He might stay back for a day or two, to hold talks with Kiran and Botsa.
